Out of 61 customer reviews in Amazon, 50 rated the Samsung LN32C450 television 4 or 5 stars out of 5. Looks like this television is off to a good start. One consumer praised both price and performance. The picture is excellent and considerably better than 2008 Vizio models. The picture quality at 1366×768 appears sharper and brighter than other 32” models. Even sitting 6 feet away, this user claims that the edges are smooth. Another user praised the sound setting called “clear voice”. Apparently this setting raises the treble relative to the midrange and bass, making the distinction between sounds much sharper. This feature is invaluable to those who are hard of hearing without having to raise the volumes to the highest level.
Another user also was satisfied regarding deliver time and the condition of the product when it arrived. The television hooks up to cable, DVD player and satellite receiver very easily. Picture and sound were again, outstanding.
Critical Reviews:
One user’s complaint was that she bought the television in 2008 and 1 year and 10 months later, the TV started turning on and off. After a while, it stopped turning on altogether. The funny thing about this review is that the Samsung LN32C450 television is a 2010 model, so in fact this review could not have been about this particular television. All other low rated reviews were simply comments about previous Samsung televisions, and others on Toshiba televisions that encountered the same problem. It is in actuality, a breath of fresh air to note that this particular television has not received low rated reviews or reviews rated with only one star.
The Samsung LN32C450 television with its numerous and superb features and excellent customer reviews is safe to say, another outstanding television from Samsung. Being a 2010 model however, it remains to be seen how long the television will stay on top of its game. Based on some reviews, other models from Samsung in 2008 were experiencing problems 2 years down the road. Looks like we can only expect bad reviews for this television in 2012, but hopefully not. One remedy to protect yourself is to purchase an extended warranty, one that goes beyond two years. So if anything happens with your the
